Nintendo Switch 2 ya es ofical y con ella ha llegado la polémica a pesar de que parecía que iba a ser un paseo militar como pocas veces se ha visto, básicamente porque con el primer modelo de la consola, que llegó en 2017, han arrasado en ventas, tanto de juegos como de consolas. Así que precisamente por eso muchos esperaban noticias sobre la compatibilidad del nuevo hardware. Y parece que, aunque la mayoría del catálogo nos va a funcionar sin problemas, hay otros títulos que van a dar guerra en Switch 2.
Durante el Direct de ayer, Nintendo nos dijo que no todo el catálogo de lanzamientos que han llegado a la primera Switch va a podder ejecutarse en el nuevo hardware. Eso, seguramente, se debe a que la nueva máquina «ha sido diseñada desde cero» y, por lo tanto, existía la posibilidad de que en algún caso ciertos títulos dieran problemas. Y así ha sido porque los propios japoneses han habilitado una página donde podemos consultar cómo va esa lista.
¿Cuántos juegos no funcionarán en Switch 2?
Ahora mismo la lista va por unos 140 nombres, algunos de ellos conocidos, así que mirad si los tenéis en vuestras bibliotecas porque, de momento, están como que no funcionan bien en Switch 2. Es más, en los detalles de la web, aseguran desde la marca que «actualmente estamos discutiendo la política de respuesta con el fabricante«. Por lo que habrá que ver si ese desarrollador todavía existe y si de hacerlo quiere invertir tiempo en hacer compatible un juego que, seguramente, ha dado ya por acabado y amortizado, y que al final del todo un trabajo así supone un gasto extra que no tenían previsto.
Así que no descartéis que alguno de ellos se quede así para siempre, sin compatibilidad para Nintendo Switch 2.
